• PRIVATE MESSAGES
  Click on a name in the chat room's active "user list" then type your message.
  Your message will only appear in that person's window.

  OR

  Make any message private by starting it with: @screenname

  example: @joe25 Did Stacey really say that to you?
  this would appear in joe25's window: joe25 Private: Did Stacey really say that to you?

• PULPchat Window PAGER

  If a user's chat window is minimized or is covered by another window, they may not know when you send them a message. If you want to get a certain user's attention, you can use the PULPchat Window "Pager"!!

  To send a "Beep" alert, type:@screenname ^

  To send a "Vibrate" alert, type:@screenname ~

  You can also add a message after the pager character.
  
  Try it .. Type your own screenname to page yourself!!

• ACTIONS

  Each PULPchat room can have its own "custom list" of up to 32 actions.

  Here are the "actions" for this room:

  axe	explode	fart	hug
  kick	kiss	lick	laugh
  point	poke	puke	puppy
  rose	shoot	shrug	slap
  smile	smirk	snuggle	tongue
  yawn

Send an action to the room, or a user by typing: //action [screenname]

example1: //kiss
this would appear as: [ WendyP gives everyone a big wet kiss!! ]

example2: //kiss joe25
this would appear: [ WendyP gives joe25 a big wet kiss!! ]

• FONTS

  You can adjust the font size and style of a message by using command codes at the beginning of the line. This is an "optional feature" that may be disabled in some PULPchats.

  Adjust the font size by typing:

  /0 (small)
  /1 (normal)
  /2 (medium)
  /3 (large)

  Select boldface, italics, or both by adding "i" and/or "b" after the font size.

  example: /3ib This is KEWL!!
  this would appear:This is KEWL!
  

• SHOUTS

Shouts are "anonymous" messages that you can send to the "whole room".
In otherwords,yYou can ask a question or make a comment without feeling embarrassed because no one will know who sent it.

Send a shout by typing: /? message

example:/? Does anyone here like classical music?
this would appear:[ Does anyone here like classical music? ]

• EMOTICONS

  Each PULPchat room can have its own custom icons or smileys.

  The first 16 are shown in the Smiley popup menu.

  There are also "secret" smileys that can be accessed by knowing their ID number.

Send any smiley by typing: /:ID number

example: /:25 Boo!!
this would appear: Rob215: Boo!!

• ROOMS

  If the rooms button is enabled, you can switch between pre-defined rooms listed in the rooms popup menu or you can create your own private room and invite others to join you.

  Private rooms may be disabled in some PULPchats. If private rooms are allowed but there is no rooms button, you can create a private room with a keyboard command.

  Go to any room by typing: #roomname
  

  example: #badfilms
  this would appear (in the old room): Rob215 leaves the room
  this would appear (in the "badfilms" room):Rob215 enters the room

  The cool part ~ If the "badfilms" room didn't already exist, a new room would be created ~ just for you!
